Services Provided
Therapy & Counseling
We provide psychiatric referrals, mental health counseling, and therapy, life skills counseling, parenting education and counseling, domestic violence and human trafficking-specific counseling, Victims of Crime advocacy and application assistance, family therapy, infant-parent psychotherapy, and aftercare mental health services.
Case Management
We provide peer counseling, case planning, employment assistance, educational counseling and assistance in enrollment, finance counseling, housing search and application assistance, housing follow-up and placement assistance, court accommodation, restraining order services, Cal works, GA, WIC, food stamp and other social service assistance/advocacy, immigration support, and transportation.
Children’s Services
We offer services specifically for children, including children’s individual group therapy and educational play, tutoring programs, parent and child bonding activities and field trips, parent guidance and discipline techniques, and advocacy for education and delayed development services.
Staff
Betty’s Village is staffed by a shelter manager who is fluent in English and Spanish and who also provides supportive services for the residents.
