Clinical Services

Ruby's Place clinical team serves those in our community impacted by trauma.

Our multicultural, multi-disciplinary team of dedicated professionals provides one-on-one, customized interventions that support the whole person. Our staff is trained to provide mental health care services that are proven to help those impacted by the after-effects of emotional trauma. The clinical center supports clients with case management and mental health care needs.


Mental Health Services

Ruby’s Place is among the nation’s most experienced domestic violence shelters and human trafficking agencies. We have over four decades of experience providing trauma-sensitive mental health services to poly-victimized individuals.

Services are directly available in English, Spanish, and Farsi. Translation can be arranged for other languages.

Outreach Services

We take an inclusive approach in order to reach all individuals. Immigration status, substance abuse, or severe mental illness are not determined in our eligibility criteria.

The services of the Trauma Recovery Center are provided to individuals at no charge.

Trauma-sensitive, Evidence-based Practices:

Staff uses established, evidence-based practices, including but not limited to Dialectical Behavior Therapy; Emotionally Focused Therapy; Trauma-Focused Cognitive Processing Therapy; Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR); Seeking Safety; Motivational Interviewing; and Harm Reduction.

COVID-19 Response:

The safety of our clients and our staff is of the utmost importance to us. Due to the COVID-19 crisis, we are currently providing counseling services via telehealth only.
